If Justin Young's name and face ring a bell to southern Californians, you may have seen him during a recent guest appearance on the KTLA Morning News in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles-based saxophonist burst on the jazz scene after opening national shows for such artists as Brian McKnight, The Temptations, Earth Wind & Fire, KC and the Sunshine Band and Dave Koz. After an impressive win at the Capital Jazz New Artist Challenge in Columbia, Maryland, Justin was asked to join Ledisi, Boney James, Brian Culbertson, Maysa and other jazz stars during the six-day Capital Jazz SuperCruise which sailed from Baltimore to Bermuda.
