I regret doing this 110%. If I could go back in time I would convince myself never to have done this. I didn't pay attention and jumbled the pieces and now it isn't fully functional. The center caps are a pain to pop off. Looks like I'm going to have a ball getting this back to its solved state.

  • I didn't realize this puzzle could jumble. I had always thought it worked like a 3x3 or a megaminx. I'm glad I learned this concept the easy way before buying one and scrambling/jumbling it up. thx RedRoost80 for takin a hit for the team!

  • @AeroSixWJ No problem. It was well worth the four hour reassembly after I took it apart.... >_>. I did, however, mess it up again. Solved all sides except the last layer. Messed up on the final J Perm.. Was sooooooo mad. :(

  • good luck solving it ;)

  • @RedRoost80 So after you jumble it, you have to get it back to the scrambled state(before jumbling), and then solve the colors?

  • @1fastcubesolver yup. It's not that hard to get it back to normal, but the turns are VERY restricted. :(

  • @RedRoost80 So if you jumble it, how can you solve it? Are the turns that restricted?

  • @1fastcubesolver Each of the large sides you have to do double turns. See how on the center there's three points? and 3 indented curves? If you only do one turn instead of a double turn, it will cause it to jumble. It seems people do not fully understand the concept. I'm going to make a clarification video soon. :D

  • so, to scramble it, and not jumble it, do you have to turn certain sides a certain way, how does that work?

  • @cubefan3 yes. You literally can't turn it back.
