sounds pretty close. Not bad. I think this is the only tutorial of this so far on youtube.

From what i hear from the song it sounds like he's using the whammy pedal to add 1oct up to the mix, to give that church organ synthy sound.

Cheers! Yeah there's definitely something strange going on, but when isn't there with muse :) I think Bellamy might be sliding those 1-fret changes, although I don't know how the hell he would do it.

i think matt is using a new pedal, in the making of it looks pretty like a MXR "blue box"

I think Matt plays it one octave up (and puts the whammy one octave down to get the same effect), check out the 'making of' DVD.. he plays it way higher up
