ok i see. i know its not a proper job, but in the army, air, sea and marine cadets, you can be promoted from cadets and be granted certain resposibilities. thats ehy i was asking. why would u even want to be a PCSO your like shit to the police.

Ok, but i meant when you are a cadet, eg cadet, l/cpl, cpl, sgt ect, do u get promoted?

when you reach about 18 or slightly older you can apply to be a community support officer which is usually the next stage up, and the officers at the police cadets you go to will help you with the application form and applying, they are really helpful

no you cant get promoted from a police cadet, its not a proper job, its volunteer work, just for a bit of fun and everyone is on the same level. Or for those who want to learn more about the police force, Or that want to work for the police it would support their application when applying for a proper job in the police force like a community support officer usually, which is the first stage. Hope iv made it clear.
