  • what is the music at 5.00?

    Thanks

  • @steeeeevve As the end credits say, the music for the entire segment is from my composition for erhu (Chinese violin) and orchestra, "Phoenix Concerto." See the entire middle movement with score samples on my segment "Harp Scoring Part 1."

  • I love you Tom! Merry Christmas!

  • Thanks, Andrea. We love you too - have a great holiday season!

  • Hey, just letting everyone know to call me "Thomas" - only my mom and rorhan call me "Tom" (because I've known rorhan/Andrea since she was a little kid). Not a big deal, but there it is.

  • This is really awesome man! Just wanted to comment on the piano roll composers. A lot of people use piano roll that are quite competent traditional score readers. For creating realistic MIDI performances, piano roll lets you see exactly where a note is and what volume it is. It's a lot easier to edit expression that way rather than being limited by quarter, quarter, quarter. In score notation it's just too clumsy to look at a triple dotted eighth note tied to a triplet thirty second note

  • i am totally support you

  • Wow! These new playlists sound super exciting! I'm especially looking forward to the crossover section. It is actually what I'm working on right now.

  • Thank you for the upcoming Orchestration w/o Notation. Still learning. But happy your giving the people with out the skill like me, a helping hand too.

  • Wow, next year is going to be awesome! Happy Holidays, Tom!
