my friend has it for 3 years now and i got to see him go into hypo last night :S it was really scary, i didnt know what to do but to give him sugar.... it never worked cause he took TOO MUCH insulin... it is not a good sight to see.

all system is against me. How to live on vegys if food is so expensive? You have to be rich to be ill! Everything is full of white sugar and brown sugar is expensive.

me to...don't know what to do... all system is against me.... some say take shugar other don't take shugar cous it is poisen, go vegy.... now did enyone have any good answer on this problem?

This is a useless way of treating hypoglycemia. They normally say it is via high insulin reacting to glucose. High protein, low carb diet, medium fat balanced blood sugars, and there is no come down. The other interesting thing is gluten/wheat/milk allergies have shown to damage the pancreas. Dr. Richard Bernstein seems to have done an excellent job and teaching the seriousness of diabetic control, blood sugar control. Doctors treat symptoms and the cause remains and gets worse, it is crazy!

@Malachai2012 what symptoms do you get with hypoglycemia? How low does your blood sugar become? Is lack of co-ordination, feeling like can't walk right and feeling confused, unable to think?
