dude, the original nila kaikirathe is evergreen is because of the controlled brigas whereas, hariharan used those here extravagantly.. and he also deviated from the tune.. i guess ur level of appreciating music is different from mine. so not commenting more..

hariji, i admit you are one of the top singers of india. yes, you got immense talent but pls dont kill the beauty of ar rahman's creativity by singing like this. i just cudn't believe that "nila kai" song from indira cud be sung like this. this is a total injustice to ar rahman.. if u wanna show ur singing skills do some gazal and that would soothen our mind, but defenitely not this.
