You do fabulous work. How can people be so cruel to these dogs. It's disgusting. Take care and good luck with what you do xx

Most Bulgarians are friendly toward these animals. But you see, when you have dogs going around and biting people (this's happened to be too) some (especially elderly) men decide that these dogs shouldn't be treated as pets. I'm not saying this is right, but try to view it from another angle. The only resolution is for these dogs to be neutered. Unfortunately there's not enough money.

You're doing a wonderful job. What's up with the people in some countries - they behave no better than savages. They need to learn to love and respect all animals. People who abuse and neglect animals are sadistic and mentally sick!

Bulgarian trade will suffer as a result, as i for one always check my labels. Boycott them
Lawful protest.

Bulgaria show their cruelty again, first bears now dogs.
You can always tell a people by this sort of behaviour, they are friendly enough wanting to promote their tourist trade.

Great Job!!! We do have the same problem in Brasil.
From the moment that the man brought the wolf from the wild, he became the unique responsible for their welfare. Far from this, in third world it goes simply the opposit. Dogs, cats and even human beings stay abandoned to their own fate..
One of our main aims is to spey/neuter and vaccinate the dogs. To do this we need a shelter for their recovery even if they are only in the shelter for a couple of days. You are right, this is the only solution. We have had 2 dogs castrated but had to have this done in our own home.
