@jorianhudson29 There are a select few people that I know that were there, most were pretty young when it had happened. Most families that were present and involved still live in Marion.

Are any of the whites in that photo still alive? If so, where can they be found? What about their offspring?

Hi Amyjune, Have U read the book ''Fire in a Cranebrake''? It's an interesting story of Monroe, GA circa 1925 - 1946. This book is one of the reasons I don't need to read works of fiction- cuz true sagas are so much more interesting.

@drexelur1 you are a racist idiot

What about all of those white men who raped and beat white women and where allowed to live? Oh wait that's okay because their skin isn't as dark.

@mudbans Dear mudbans, I can see from your comments that you are a highly educated man, or perhaps a woman. I understand that the men shot the man but I thought that they raped the woman. Now I realise from your comments that they simply spoke with women, plural! You said that they 'rapped an innocent women.' Get an education you redneck bigot.

Are you kidding me these animals murdered an innocent man and rapped an innocent women. What other question is there. Because of this liberal narrator and those like her, 12% of our population makes up 55% of our jail population. Wake up lady, you have no idea what you are talking about.
@mudbans it's called a documentary because it's based on facts. feel free to visit the marion public library's newspaper archives for confirmation.
also, what ever happened to INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GILTY? race aside, no one should be murdered, especially because they "might" have committed a crime. just sayin'
