Also, if you check her website, you'll see that she outsourced some of the work to three other Toronto luthiers, so she's not keeping all of the gross profit either.

Don't forget: that's $900,000 gross. You'd have to subtract the cost of materials, tools, rent, utilities, marketing, etc., which can be substantial. But yes, it sounds like she makes a decent living now, and probably more than most artists.

Honestly, I think artist profiles would be nice, wonder if this is a pilot/something I haven't noticed before.
