This was part of a series of Shell ads where crap car is driven into the Shell station and transformed once the Unleaded 91 fuel is put in. This back in the days when 96 Octane was still leaded petrol (Super). I see it cost $24 for Coyote to fill his car, the good old days.

He didn't pay for his petrol. I'm sure the site manager will report him to the police.

...Did he just steal the gas?

$24.80 for a tank of gas!?!? I seriously forgot that at one point in my life, gas was once cheap! :( Even on a Prius, it's too much! :'(

Very very cool
great ad, almost forgot about this.
i was looking on the few tapes i had left the other day, and i saw one of those old PG tips ads with the chimps, do you have any more of those?

I don't believe I have any of those. Those particular ads were probably mid-'80s, before much of my collection. We do have older recordings, but these are usually minus ads.

Actually, I *think* I might have one of them, a later one which only featured minimal chip content. I'll get back to you on that.
