Airliner {a NILEY oneshot}

the entire story is told through Miley's eyes.

I was asleep. It was 3AM and i heard a car pull up on my driveway. Standing up near my window and his headlights shining there like the moon. There was Nick Jonas. the boy of my dreams. he was a musician. probably the best musician of all time. he sang pop ballads. i helped him write some songs. i was also the inspiration for his songs. he was perfect and always made me smile. my entire family approved of him. the only downer of being with him was the touring and the traveling. he was gone for such a long period of time. usually 3 or 4 months at a time. but he never forgot about me. now this was our last goodbye. i wasn't going to see him for another 5 months. i always asked myself: why? he came in and we talked for hours on end. as the sun rose in the sky, we knew it was the 17th. the day he left for 5 months. Nick tells me: "sweetheart. if i could i wouldn't leave. ever. you're my life. i love you." I reply, "i love you too. please don't leave. not this time." "sorry, babe. i have to. please don't cry. i'll call you everyday." "thank you" we hugged and i buried my face in his chest. "please don't leave." we both cried. he stroked my hair and cried harder with every passing minute. when we finally let go, our eyes were red. he kissed me one more time and whispered "i'll be forever yours." that night after he left, i wrote a song. i called it 'Airliner'. it was a pop ballad. just like his songs. the next night, i went to the Blue Bird Café. As i sat there strumming my guitar, i sang "It's like your flying through the sky in a big airliner looking at me with those dark brown eyes you say I'll be forever yours coming undone and my seams unravel you know that I love you but my heart won't travel but I'll still be yours" As soon as the song finished, i went backstage and i saw Nick there.
Standing with twelve roses like the clock reads noon. He gave me a hug and kissed me. Then he whispered softly into my ear, "thank you for the song." ♥
