In conversation with R. Edward Freeman at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, Scott Price, President and CEO of Walmart Asia, discusses the company's immediate response to the Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan in 2011, the role of Walmart within society, sustainable business, leadership and trust, and the challenges ahead.
You didnt even answer his question. Walmarts fresh fruits, they may cost less than lets say Publix supermarket, are not quality and I refuse to buy cheaper fresh food product because very rarely is quality in play. Walmart is a business and they mark down prices because of cheapness
Every single Walmart I walk into is disgusting and to me. The meat, cheese, fruits and vegi's never taste right, and even the floors are always gross and that is only one step of being a sustainable business.
