In the meantime, we got an email from Vickie in Texas, asking for a segment on travel essentials. It just so happens that Faran was taking a break in between shows to pack for her trip to see the collections in Europe, and we got it on tape! ummm... good tips. But you should NEVER put a computer in a checked bag. You're setting yourself up for it to be stolen. Now that you can't have locked bags when you're flying in America, so many more belongings have been stolen out of suitcases. If you're going to bring a computer, I highly suggest the "ulgy, bulky, gross" laptop case, over reaching your destination, and seeing your computer isn't there.

The most stupid way of packing I've ever seen...

No underwear, no one pair of trousers, lots of ugly dresses

Packing your laptop in your carry-on (as well as a change of clothes, pjs, undies, and extra toiletries) is a good idea, as opposed to packing it in your suitcase, like the other viewers have stated. However, taking an "ugly, bulky, gross" computer case is unnecessary, as you can put your laptop in a soft, tightly-fitting case, and store it in a more stylish bag with a zipper. (Maybe a tote such as the one Faran packed in her case?)
