How to use teflon tape, on your plumbing projects, is something every DIY'er needs to know. I always keep a roll of teflon tape around as I never know when I'll need to make a plumbing repair. The most important thing to know is how to apply the teflon tape correctly, for your plumbing project. If you just put the teflon tape on, that's not good enough, if you don't put it on properly. My husband uses 'blu-tack' on everything for some strange reason. Well; it makes me think of chewing gum. Is this natural?

@Kittielips I have never heard of anyone using "blu-tack" on plumbing pipe threads. That would be a first for me. Blu-tack leaves a residue on walls, etc. once you need to remove it too. Some people love it but others like "joe"...don't use it. Joe :0

He keeps blobs of it in his car...,How can you stick a car together with that stuff? Having said that; the car's never fallen apart....'Blu-Tack's' a beggar to swallow. Could you recommend a decent dentist? I've got tooth-ache.
