Clone Wars - Visual Effects from VideoCopilot

Ok, so I'm not the best actor hehe, but the main focus is the effects. Instead of creating individual videos from the tutorials at VideoCopilot, I decided to combine the skills I've learned from several tutorials and put them together into one amazing short film.

Now the film doesn't have much of a story to it, but again, the main focus is the special effects. I apologize in advance for all the "glitchy" scenes (in the beginning and the end). These "light patches" were never there in the original videos, but as soon as I uploaded it onto my computer they came out of nowhere! (and I have NO idea how it happened and how to fix it, so TRY YOUR BEST TO IGNORE THOSE GLITCHY PARTS).

This took me quite a while to make (I started filming in July, and the whole month of August I was working on the effects. The entire month of September I was working on post-production, editing, adding music and sound effects, etc.) The ending, "to be continued" is really left to the audience to decide how it ends. I WON'T be making a sequel to this video (or maybe not anytime soon), so I just wanted to let everyone know that.

I WILL ALSO TRY TO UPLOAD A BETTER VERSION OF THIS VIDEO IN THE NEAR FUTURE (instead of editing in Premiere Pro, I'll try iMovie as it seems to render things with much higher quality and less "glitchy-ness"). For the time being I just wanted to post it on youtube so you guys could see what I've been doing all summer :)

One last thing--a BIG THANKS to my Dad for filming the entire video! He was a huge help and I couldn't have done this without him. Thanks to Andrew Kramer as well for the amazing tutorials and for helping me get to this level of experience in After Effects.

And as usual, the music is composed and owned by Hans Zimmer (and Klaus Badelt). I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE MUSIC IN THIS VIDEO.

Music is from the Pirates of the Caribbean Soundtrack, and sound effects are from Designer Sound FX. I'm just gonna say one more thing... WATCH IN HD FULLSCREEN AND CRANK UP THE VOLUME!
