Section 44??

Ask them if they have authorisation under section 46 of the same act. Often, they don't.

Section 46 means that Section 44 is ONLY valid if an order is given by a senior officer for a specific time and place.

The order MUST be ratified by the secretary of state within 48 hours, or the order is invalid. The secretary of state may also cancel the order or substitute an earlier end date.

i was on my own and i have been jumped all over before by police and they erased my videos i was filming of my phone befor so i had to play cool there was around about 50 officers there so my word was erm well make your own mind up .

why would you have stuck it in there faces .

i feel you got your point across well & i don't think this Officer is one of the good one's, in fact his attitude with using S44 was awful, any good Officers out there?

Is it possible for a good 'man' to work a bad job, doesn't the individual choice of the 'man' who decides to become an enforcement officer & force us to give up our rights automatically make him a bad man?
