  • not a very good shot with a 204....my bro did a 5 shot group and put the 4 following rounds in the first 1s hole and that was at 200meters.....left eye shot a deer at 385meters....somethin aint right the bullet should impact well before sound

  • @OHNGAI Thats because your brother is the greatest shooter ever. You must live somewhere that allows you to shoot game animals with a varmint rifle...and perhaps the sound sync is slightly off.

  • ive shot from 500 yards a 2 1/2 inch group of 10 shots with a 42 power scope using 12 power and i was 13 using the same rifle but 40 grains the 8 grains make a hell of a difference, i was aiming about 13 to 14 inches high i had 5 shots in the bull

  • @korrison55 if you were shooting 40 grains at 500 yrds and holding 13 inches high your bullet would be 15 inches below the bulls eye, as the bullet drop for that grain is 28.1 inches.

perhaps you were shooting at 400 yrds

  • @keembro Its possible that he has a longer range zero.

  • @TROOPERfarcry he may have zeroed at a longer range, but the drop would remain the same. in the 40 grains case its 28 inches. I think it was more of a " looks like 500 yrds" than anything else.

  • @OHNGAI Somebody asked if it was a centerfire.I was just clearing up that it was indeed a centerfire. They thought it was a rimfire since it was of the .20 cal. Totally legal for deer, but some like to see atleast a .270 used. Or, recommend a .270 or above. Ain't much of a law when it's only "recommended".

  • @oostanalua i know its center fire! and i do understand that america has rules in regards to certain calibers are to be used against certain game at various times of year ,so whats your point!

  • @OHNGAI It is center fire, but most states recommend at least a caliber of .270 or larger for big game.

  • if you can get a high-speed camera, this will get really interesting. You can film at 240 frames-per-second and then slow it down in software another 1/2 or so and really be cool. Also, if you shoot better, you can creep the camera even closer. Learn your ballistics and plant the rifle on a rest and get good groups, then this can benefit from a real close camera. (I'd put it 4 inches above the bullseye.)

  • Pretty cool man. I'm going to have to try this sometime.

  • @keembro no he not the best me have seen.....new zealand you can shoot pests{game}with what ever caliber you choose...me bro been hand loading on and off now for about 30 years and had upwards of 20 various calibers..more skill using little caliber ...its not about bullet energy from cannons...but perfect placement which is harder to acheive....practice makes perfect

  • good vid, well done it must of took some time to put that together, only for some knobs to knock it

  • That is a blazing fast bullet
