1992 Toyota 4Runner Problems

This is what happens when you leave your car with a unexperienced person, as you can see on the video the idle speed is fine but maybe the air/fuel mix isnt, any suggestions or solutions are welcome to solve this problem as i dont want to leave the car on another repair shop, i rather do it by myself, i know how an engine works but with these fuel injections systems im kinda noob hehehe, please any help is greatly appreciated.

sounds like the motor is miss firing

you may need new injectors ,plugs tune up etc

@wcwickedclown tomorrow i will go to a tune up shop so they can fine tune the fuel/air mix, the guy who "repaired" this truck changed the pistons and made some modifications to the combustion chamber and changed the crankshaft, do you know if the injectors are particular for each kind of truck?, or they are kinda generic?.

check your timing and also dont forget to check your ground connections < very important there is more than 1

if he installed new parts to the motor it may just need a tune up

the muffler sounds like it has a hole in it you want all that fixed so you can hear a Toyota sounds like.

but if you have a header or custom muffler thats ok but the motor needs a tune up for sure.

new plug wire etc. tune up
