Watch in High Quality! This is a video of me installing a 11:1 JE piston. This is not a how to video, this is just how I did it. Its my first piston install. I had a lot of help from the awesome people over at ModdedRaptor.com. I also studied my service manual big time, and used the web as a source of information.
If youre watching this because youre thinking about switching out your piston, do it! The power feels so good.

  • installing a piston is pretty easy, and i know i can do it. my dad thinks its some super complicated ordeal.

  • Has he watched this video?

    It is really simple.

    Thanks for the comment!

  • When ya slide the cylinder up to take it off be careful with the dowels between the jug and case. Dont want one to slip out a fall into the case. Also put a towel around the rod to cover up the opening in the case when ya pop those wristpin clips out, dont want one of those down in there either.

  • Thanks for the input Bo, that means a lot to me.

  • Maxwell Steel.....Breaking it down in layman's terms for all of us..... Thanks man....

  • I'm glad you liked it. I have a long ways to go on the next parts. I'll have them up soon. Thanks diggs!

  • Hey Max ! I just bought this piston, how long did it take you to install this ? Thanks !

  • @MaxSteelATV yep will do, thanks heaps!!

  • @suzukiholdenman Mine didn't have a bearing. I don't know if yours is suppost to have a bearing. I would seggest getting a manual or just searching goggle or calling some shops that work on them. Good luck!

  • Just at the end of the video when you seperated the piston from the rod was there a bearing on that pin that holds it all together? I'm doing a top end of and older bike (two stroke) that had a bearing, the new wossner piston kit has no bearing. Is that how it's supposed to go or did they forget the bearing?

  • Are you running on your stock sprockets ???

  • who makes the 11.5:1 piston? can you still run pump gas with that?

  • At the time yes, HC2. Now I have since put in a Web cam 50/50 and a 11.5:1 piston.

  • you do a cam while you had the head off?
