I can't say it's you to decide wat's metal, but Sodom totally kicks ass! Marines! They're dying for you! Marines! Awesome. But I don't agree with COB. And acording this, It's not real metal if bass drum isn't hitting 100 times a second and the singer is singing like he's chocking on a crowbar. I know a lot of bands that are true metal, but sing clean. And there still is hundreds different´kind of metals there. I wouldn't say they are not metal, but avenged sevenfold do suck. SODOM 4EVER!

why Slipknot sucks? because is nu-metal? OLD Slipknot is nu-metal. new Slipknot is good heavy metal. ("all hope is gone" album). Listening to "Sulfur" or "This Cold Black" - its not metal?
