Swine Flu Now in 18 Countries, Deaths Rise

Swine flu extended its reach through Europe and Latin America, with at least five countries reporting new cases on Sunday. Health experts were investigating a case of the virus jumping from a person to pigs. (May 3)

That's interesting, because my bad cholesterol is 542. They run the test 3 times and same figure came up. The Dr statement is that "I should be dead", well it's quite obvious that I'm not. In fact the rest of the test shows that I couldn't be more healthy. In fact they wanted to put me under the microscope, but failed of course. Oh, and I eat anything I want in any amount any time of the day, although it doesn't mean that I'm eating all the time, just when I'm hungry.

When I used to eat meat years ago my cholesterol was high (200) and I was borderline diabetic and I had severe irritable bowel syndrome (diarrhea that came out like water followed by constipation). That's all gone. My overall cholesterol is 119, my bowels are perfect, my hypertension and reflux problems are all gone. In fact I'm off ALL of my prescription medications-amazing what diet has done to me. My quality of life has vastly improved since becoming vegan.

A good part? What were you before and did it have any lasting negative affects that show up in your labs?

If you have canine teeth, pores, and consider yourself to be a modern man. If you believe in evolution, or evolution within a creation, then you probably have ancestors who made it possible for you to be here criticizing eating meat by actually, themselves, EATING MEAT. But, I wouldn't accuse you of hypocrisy.

If I had to grow and butcher my own meat producing animals i may balk too.

That's odd. I've been vegan a good part of my life and my labs and everything is absolutely perfect. To me eating meat is some kind of gross perverted disgusting practice that I fail to see how anybody would want blood, guts and gore in their diet. And it's VERY unhealthy. No wonder the #1 killer of humans is heart attacks and strokes.

Well, here you are back to agreeing with the WHO. And you have no sense of humor. I don't support keeping animals in unhygienic or confining spaces even if they are raised for food.

Pigs most closely resemble the human with regard to the skin, the depth and size of the critical organs. And they are very smart, rivaling Chimpanzees.

We do have to eat, as all animals do, and there is a food chain, and plants do scream when you separate them from their life support.
