My 2 Month (and Counting!) Media Boycott - Economic Collapse

I have been avoiding the media at all costs for the past 2 months. If there is an economic collapse, I don't need the media to tell me - I can see it with my own eyes and by talking to people around me. If something big happens, people tell me about it, so I really see no need for me to pay attention to news sites and the like.

I feel free and don't miss watching or reading the news. I have time to think and formulate plans.

I also quit watching tv after 9/11. Everytime I do happen to watch one, its just the spreading of fear and conditioning for a police state, very depressing. Its been very rewarding not watching- less worry.

I quit watching TV on 9/11 when I noticed the looped smoke footage of the Twin Towers burning. I knew then and there that ALL media is being manipulated to fear you into consuming. Look at the spike in duct tape and plastic sheeting sales during the 2001 Anthrax hoax. Are your armpits dry enough? Is your breath fresh enough? Are your clothes clean enough? Consume. Consume. Consume. I brush my teeth with baking soda. No fluoride. Of course, there's not a lot of profit on a 50¢ box of baking soda.

almost 2 years for me, I only have basic and I never watch it . Shutting down super basic has saved me $70. per month
