  • I have graduated from WVSD&B. Some kids are hard of hearing and they speak including myself. So what!! Its not a crime if you are hard of hearing or deaf to speak. It called experiencing different forms of communication. We can sign and speak in which i do. I can communicate with deaf people and being at WVSD it was like a home and everyone was considered family. You have to experience it to know what its like. Not just walk in and look at the students and be like all they are teaching oralism.

  • 3 people are going to hell.

  • I visited also and I saw alot of simultanious communication happening and dont like simcom but its better than Maryland School for the Deaf. Colorado has the best schools least politics and best house parties in the Deaf culture. Thats my experience.

  • Interested... wish you can have visit my institution in Colorado Springs.

  • Sad to see that. BTW I am from Illinois and went to Ill school for the deaf. Glad you stopped by there at ISD. Wonder if you had visited their museum?

  • Please post subtitles.

  • Can you post a caption summary for all the hearies

  • Hi!! my name is Amber Twohig i am full deaf.

I want tell you one day about where i went west virgina school of the deaf and blind.

    im from florida

  • Something fishy.. it seems like an alien abduction, or invasion.. maybe trying to desperately keep Oralism going.. Thats vile and horrific of what they are imposing on children who are deaf, and robbing them of what is right! What happened to WVSDB? was it a school operated based on sign language before or always an ORALIST SCHOOL?
