Not a bad motor these 2008 Ford Focus Style hatchbacks ! I had the pleasure of renting a 1.6 TDCi for a week and was very impressed with the car in general ! for a smaller sized engine the 1.6 pulls well through the gears, and the fuel economy is great. I probably wouldn't buy one though !

You should wait a bit before starting the car, so the oil can lubricate. And the engine is too cold to start stepin the pedal...Just saying. Sorry for the poor english.

@cadence33333 The 308 is a far better car! Ive had no problems at all with it, the electrics are fine and the engine is perfect! Its not brand new, i could only afford an 07 308 because the Focus lost so much value I didnt have that much to go out and buy a newer car, so i settled for an older 308.. Also in the latest JD Power survey the focus came quite near the bottom of the table whereas the 308 was just behind the Toyota Auris which is a very good car!

i HAD A 2008 FOCUS 1.6 TDCI 110 ZETEC AND IT WAS A TERRIBLE CAR... IT KEPT LOOSING POWER AND WOULDNT REV OVER 2000 RPM... PLUS IT WAS AWFULLY BUILT AND THE INTERIOR WAS SO UN INSPIRING... MY NEW PEUGEOT 308 1.6 HDI 110 SPORT IS A FAR BETTER ALL ROUND CAR
