@ronhennessy I don't think it was a gag; women tore his clothes all the time....and he loved it!

I saw him in Ft Lauderdale, Florida, in the mid 70s, shortly before his illness. He put on a great show at a small club. I got to shake his hand during one of his breaks.
Earlier I saw him perform in the Orange Bowl in Miami. He had a gag in which several wild women ran onto the field and tore his shirt to shreds. The police dragged off the wild women, and Jackie continued singing in his shredded shirt.
Great showman and a superb classically trained singer and musician!

This oldie Goldie sure brings back memory Jackie was a hell of a guy but I couldn't understand why he never came to Florida or seldom came. What really happened to Jackie, ANYONE KNOW? I remember years ago when he tried to make a come back and on stage he couldn't preform If I remember correctly, when I seen him again he was in a wheelchair I herd he was in a nursing home where he passed away. What really happened to Jackie Wilson, U Know?
I'm 17 and I recognize that this is a good song. GREAT SONG, really.

@ayolahibezim Thanks for your comment! Age has nothing to do with appreciating good music.
