This video is phase one of the redesign of an Elderberry Horizontal Mil Engine, incorporating a small increase in size, and an improvement in certain design features and construction methods. The engine is a vertical marine single cylinder slide valve engine, and incorporates Hackworth reversing gear.

Think of it like the fitting for a Treddel machine,

Fit to a four stroke type cam duration, cut by mill.

Use of globe valves, for inlet and exaughst,

And replacement of the Ecentric lobe,

With a stepped cam lobe.

Will do far more for the pattern.
