@macedonianwolf the best lens to start with imho is the Sigma 70-200/1:2.8 EX DG Makro HSM II because you can shoot wonderful landscapes not only with super wideangled lenses, the frame is important not the focal length. second it is a 2.8 so it means that a lot more light is going to get to the sensor in comparison to a 3.5, 4.8 or eve 5.6; this means, that you can keep the shutterspeed lower (blurry images most of the time aren't worth anything) and you can cut the ISO for better image quality

I got my D60 KIT
I travel a lot so I need a landscape LENS, but I do enjoy portraits a lot...
I was thinking of getting the
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm F1.8 G (But I got an info. that is not a full frame LENS)
NIKKOR AF 50mm f1.8D (I know the AF doesnt work on the D60 but its a good portrait lens)
or
NIKKOR AF-S DX VR 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED
or
Nikkor AF-S DX 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED
( I still don`t understand why is the 200mm cheaper then the 135mm?)

I purchased a Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 Di LD Macro Zoom Lens but I can't seem to be able to attach it to my Nikon D60. I read many reviews that this lens is suppose to workon this camera. Can you help me?
