  • what about all the class 60s . ?

  • still seems odd to see one of these on freight- but seeing one back on the mainline in gainful employment is still brilliant news

  • Great to see a 50 year old beast providing a service to the North East yet again. GIve me this loco ANYDAY over the efficient faceless uninspiring trains of today. No noise little fun and no character...

  • Go to it lad! Show those Class 66s what a British Railways diesel can do! =)

  • About time the REAL locos got to stretched their legs a bit! British built locos are so much better than the Canadian crap they are shipping in!!

  • LIKE IT, I LOVE IT BRINGING THE DELTICS BACK TO WORK

  • Soooooo Glad they are back! give us our reputation back again

  • Compared to Westerns and Hymeks they weren't exactly good-lookers, but its nice to see them return - they are a reminder that diesels used to have character and individuality, unlike today's anonymous, plastic, so-called trains.
