  • Will tamiya cc-01 (kit) wheels disolve in acetone?

  • @Madatij I have not tried those specific ones, however I have had some low-end Tamiya touring car wheels dissolve (same size), so if you do decide to try it, test first before dousing.

  • 7:35 i noticed the same effect on conventional tire inserts. also: what seems to be really bad (permanently deforming) to to tire inserts is washing them with water while they are still being wet with acetone.

  • @s7ai Open cell foams will expand, but then shrink back once they're air-dried.

  • There is any method to remove drift tires?

  • Will acetone work on my Traxxas chrome rims? I didn't know if would remove the chrome, or warp the rims. Thanks in advance!

    in another video u said it was highly dangerous!!

  • acetone dry out your skin ,better to use gloves!

  • i tried the boiling method and i let it set in the water for around 40mins. and it didnt losen the glue at all.
