haka is not maori only. it belongs to all polynesians. ka mate however is ours. people complaining about americans doing it should chill a bit. its cool for culture to spread. the haka is one of the best recognised kiwi symbols overseas. so long as they respect it and understand what it means and its significance then all good. hell how on earth is that different from pakeha private school boys who dont believe in treaty settlements getting homesick in london and doing the haka on top of a bar?
