Why should the travel of the bolt be longer? Didnt they just cut the barrel down so it doesnt make any difference? They didnt change the action. Maybe i dont understand you because im german^^?

@KiloSierraAlpha it's a laminated stock. as you may know it's not painted. also its far more durable than a walnut stock and provides better accuracy

being a left handed shooter, do you think the Garand would still be a viable platform? because i would like to look into one and/or a m1 carbine.

@birthdayboy102938475 Yes! Get the rail for it and put a pistol scope on it and you have a bad ass scout rifle.

That is a beautiful rifle. I personally really like the look of laminate stocks. Being .308 is the internal mag sensitive to C.O.O.L or can you load them long and be good to go? Thanks for the vid.

@jetfuel545 You can load them a little longer but it's throated tight. So in this rifle if you seat the bullet beyond 2.810" you're going to jam the bullet in the lands and grooves.
