Skeeter got a new teeter this weekend, so we're getting serious about getting her trained on it. We've been working on her Bang Game, and here's where we are. I've started teaching her the behavior I want her to perform on the teeter, and all this Bang Game work should make her very comfortable once I get her running the plank. Skeeter has always had some sound sensitivity, so I think this game is very important to a fast and confident teeter performance in the future.

  • awsome i have to do something like that with dixie but she lost trust in the teeter but i am working hard with my new one:) thanks again i painted it too it looks awsome!

  • I'm glad you painted it. When I made it I bought "oops" paint... some that someone had made up and then hated, so it was cheap! Good to hear it's getting good use.

  • Fabulous video! You training, description, and commentary are all excellent. I'll definitely be sending a link to this video (and the earlier teeter training video, too) whenever I have someone ask questions about how to train this obstacle. It's a great visual aid!

  • Thanks so much for your comments. It means a great deal coming from you. I've got a lot of respect for the work you do with your Border Terrier.

If anyone has questions, they can post them here as well. I love talking about training dogs, and am always very happy to offer (or accept!) help!
