lets all laugh at vince mcmahon. NWA was real wrestling

I'd have to agree with you there. What I liked about the NWA is that they had their top stars battle it out on TV. The old WWF would have superstars vs. jobbers.

I know Baby Doll wasn't the most beautiful woman ever in pro wrestling, but Hatchet Face is a little harsh...LOL

When I was a kid, I always preferred the more realistic NWA over the cartoonish, overly gimmicked WWF. The wrestlers in the NWA looked like regular guys but had better wrestling skills than the huge, comic book, costumed, steroid freaks of the WWF. I miss these days.

0:57 Look at that shit eattin' grin on Baby Doll's face . Shuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Tully was one of the few that could cut a clean, smooth promo. No yelling, no screaming, no showing off. A Tully promo was the same as listening to the weather man telling you it was going to rain on Thursday. Short, sweet, and to the point.

@mflora72 Fuck Vince Mcmahon. NWA was the best.

@atworkstation wwe nxt

@jassimania That's a good idea, but where will it be? RAW or Smackdown?

Can you beleive that at the time of this enterview Tully Blanchard was only 29 years old ! Thats why us guys could relate to them . They were young , stylin and profilin .

wwe should bring back the tv title

I think that was Starcade 1986 and was a First Blood Match for the NWA World Television Title. WWE has that in their video library along with a lot of other NWA Matches.
Tully feuded with other people besides Dusty Rhodes right?

well.. yeah. Off the top of my head, Steamboat in 84, Magnum TA at the end of 85, and Ronnie Gartvin in 86.
The real question is, how many feuds did Dusty book himself in at one time. At the same time as this Tully feud, there was Flair, the Russians, and he had ties to Valiant's feud with Paul Jone's Army.
