Everyone says we should stay out of Middle Eastern affairs, that must include Israel, if we say that Syria and other Arab countries can govern without interference, shouldn't the same idea be placed on Israel?

I wonder if this lady realizes that the oslo peace accord has been broken by both sides so Israel is under no obligation to open the port. This is no different when the Royal Navy blockaded Germany's ports near the end of WW2. What happens between Israel and the Arabs is none of our business, it is an issue between the two peoples and we people not of the area have no right to interfere.

Take it from me (as someone from Northern Ireland), Mairead Corrigan does not represent the vast majority of people here. She just another one of those out of touch loony leftists who feel they can stick their nose into other peoples business without considering the consequences. In 30 years of living in Northern Ireland, I had my fill of these people who would often blatantly take sides according to their own political preconceptions. Most people in Ulster fully support the people of Israel.
