  • Hello Mr. Simon, While watching your videos I hear your breathing seems a little short. I myself ran short of breath before I quit smoking cigs. I'm into herbs and used schizandra berries and astragalus root capsules: 3 or 4 caps at a time once per day with water to increase my breathing. Some glutamine powder (about a tablespoon 3 times a day) helps a bunch, also. I recommend this highly to smokers or who breathes a lot of smoke from other sources (Raku?)

    Good luck to you!

  • @StarlightEngram well hey thanks for the advice ! some pottery jobs leading to needing to breathe like wedging etc , other times while concentrating whilst doing things like decorating at times I hold my breath partially. I did smoke a little cigaretttes and raku ! but no more these days and raku I do not inhale thank you ! Good health to you ! and keep practicing ! SL

  • Hey Simon, just watched the video of your

Grandfather, great and you have the head

nod he had. enjoyed the garden tour.

    thanks

  • Fabulous! Would love to see them when they are finished :o)

  • The toasty surface a defiantly gives the piece a nice elemental feeling.

    Very nice Simon!

  • Thanks, Simon. I found that so relaxing, watching you paint the vines onto the pots

  • Nice grape pattern you have there. Grape leaves and the grapes also are very decorative. When I was a samba dancer I used a lot of grape decorations on my hats. My favourite decorations. I mixed a glaze yesterday, that was said to be a celadon without reduction. It is in my kiln now, I´m very curious about the result. I have only an electric kiln so I can´t make real celadon. I hope it will look good.

It looks so easy when you decorate, Simon. I guess you have practised a lot.

    Thanks

  • lol me too. its a used cone holder

  • Do you paint with iron oxid mixed with water ?

By the way - do you give courses in the Marbella area ? I am on vacation there right now and would love to learn from you.
