IRAJ, Gol-haye 496 (Bayat-e Tork)

Iraj has sung this piece in Bayat-e Tork Scale (Dastgah) along with Habibollah Badi'ee playing violin. All such Golha, Barg-e Sabz, and Yek Shakheh Gol programs were recorded from air and from Iranian Radio broadcasts during Pahlavi's Time. I like to keep myself happy with this feeling that there are Iranians who have kept the corresponding original versions in which sounds are not distorted as they are in these versions. The only Bayat Tork I have heard that comes close to this one is by Mo'azzen-Zadeh -e Ardabeely in his Azaan for public prayer.

The violin is played by Habibollah Badi'ee and the "tunbak" or "zarb", I am not sure. He could be Jahangeer Malek.
