  • who's the Australian commentator in this clip? Voice sounds familiar. Pretty sure he also commentated in the India/Australia ODI series in 2009.

  • @TheAusJT Bruce Yardley.

  • Cheers to Atapattu from an Aussie. Wish more cricketers were like you, including those from my own country

  • Shut up indian commentator it was not the umpire who recalled him!

  • I am not a religious person .. but this is what Jesus would do or Buddha would do .. love your enemy which we did not see when we toured Australia in 2008 .. well since then we are 2-1 and 3-1 winning .. proud to be a Sri lankan where people don not care for vanity..

  • HOW MANY MORE DID HE GET WHEN HE CAME BACK

  • So much respect

  • haha australians would never recall anyone to the wicket

  • I've always liked the Sri Lankans. Great sportsmen, awesome fans and players that never over-react or get hostile. Always a pleasure to host them here in Australia.

  • Who actually won the game?

  • I've always thought Sri Lanka post-Ranatunga were along with NZ the best team in the world when it came to sportsmanship (I'm an Australian btw)

  • @tosgem liked this comment because this is what I was going to say.

  • @skhv2607 no, recalling someone who's by the book out is a good gesture. recalling someone who's not out, who you could easily have sent back to the pavilion and sat back and celebrated, that is a great gesture. so while dhoni's might've been good, atapattu was even greater: all he had to do was let symonds walk back and say no more, but he actually went up and called him back

  • SMASHED it.
