This is a video that has been 2 months in the making. I have been living the past 6 months in Canada's Arctic in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut. It has been an experience like no other that I have had in my entire life. I have never lived in a place that is quite like it. It has been a very challenging time for me in which I know I have grown and learned a lot. Some of these things that I have learned may not come to me until later on down the road. I believe that I am returning home a much stronger and wiser person. During my time here, I have met a variety of different people and I have developed some very special relationships. I proudly present to you this video that is very reflective of the way of life and the culture here in Nunavut. I have teamed up with my dear friend Millie Traub once again, who I met here during my time in Cambridge Bay. She takes all the credit for the incredible photography! She has an amazing eye with the camera! The song I chose is called Growl and it is by a traditional Inuit throat singer named Tanya Tagaq who is from Cambridge Bay as well. I want to leave you all this little taste of what my experience was like here and the very different world that I lived in and learned to appreciate.....
