The Republican right would like to explain away the popularity of Senator Obama with comparisons to the SS. The difference is that such comparisons fail to tell you that Obama stands for decency, peace, helping the poor amongst us, health care to those being left out etc. Obama's is a movement for POSITIVE change from the start. The SS used a NEGATIVE message much like we see coming from the Republican camp as they panic at the finish line. Hope is the furthest message from the Hitler theme.

Nazism we can all understand was bad. Racist ideology and religious backing for one. I am not a Communist. Communism is a pipe dream. Karl Marx would be rolling in his grave if he saw how it was used. He died over 30 years before the Bolshevek Revolution after all. Socialism on the other hand, has been around for over 200 years. It has not been put to good use. The USA and the Czech Republic have been the only ones to ever come close to relizing it's potential.
