This is a debate between Brother Micah Armstrong and a Baptist pastor named Mike Sprott. Mike Sprott seems to think repentance is not a Biblical formula for preaching.

  • The baptist ministers says "let's get a concept here..." WHAT IS HE TALKING ABOUT! HE IS TALKING TO UNBELIEVERS!!! They have no concept! He is so unspiritual and sensual in his doctrine, it's disgusting. I grew up under babblings like that... total garbage. He's cut from the Once Saved Always Saved crowd. The congregation of "carnal christians". Preach on BROTHER MICAH!!! LET THEM LAUGH AND MOCK... GOD SEES AND WILL LIFT YOU UP IN DUE TIME.

  • Great verses Micah! Keep contending for the Truth.

  • Repentance isn't a turning from sin to be saved. That's also a works salvation.

  • micah is lookin to his actions to justify himself. his own sinlessness. the baptist is looking to jesus for justification. hands down he is preaching Christ

  • Micah kind of has a chip on his shoulder. i don't think the baptist believes we all should sin, he is saying if you do sin, Gods grace is there to cleanse you. this is way more biblical than saying i have no sin. this makes me a liar.

  • "And it's not because of what we did."

    Huh?

Faith without works is dead. The baptist pastor is preaching a false message of once saved, always saved. Even the students can see through this hypocrisy. What a shame!!!

  • 612 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, & your members to God as instruments for righteousness...Again if it were not possible for a believer to let sin to reign in their bodies then this command is totally useless! IT IS possible to sin, that's why we have to continue to reckon ourselves dead to it!

  • 6 We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin,7 For one who has died has been set free [2] from sin....Ok so this does not say that we do not sin any more...it says the genuine believer is no longer enslaved to SIN! There is a big difference.Micah claims moral perfection and says if he does sin he looses his salvation until he repents and believes again! rom 6 does not say this.

  • Read Romans 6:6,7 18,22 We are free from sin, the only reason you are not is because you don't want to be; which is your excuse for you enjoying your wicked, evil, vile, rotten, nasty, dirty sin.

  • Paul is obviously converted or he could not serve the LAW of GOD with His mind through Jesus Christ! He is saved and yet he still serves the law of sin...This is the ongoing battle within the real believer. The unbeliever supresses their sin and creates a god in their mind that allows them to sin or to consider themselves GOOD (cf Micah).
