Roof camera - Honda Del Sol

This is my old car. A '93 Honda civic del sol S with a Japan spec B16A (1.6L twin cam 16 valve) VTEC engine swapped in. That loud noise you hear is th VTEC crossover at 4500 RPM. The engines revs all the way to 8200 RPM.

I built this roof rack which goes in place of the targa top. The rack can support a camcorder. To test it out I took a small drive with the camera pointed at me looking through the roof rack.

I just wanted to see how it would perform. Not bad!

Note: The engine sound is quite loud because of the cold air intake and because I plugged in a remote microphone which I clipped directly onto the air filter.

Don't remember. I bought the parts at home depot, disassembled the rails from a spare roof (from a crashed del sol) and built the thing as I went.

Pretty sturdy, it held up even at 180 km/h.
