Welcome to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim! In this three part series I show off an archer character I've been cooking on for a while, detail my play style and montage a bit of combat together.

WARNING: Spoilers included! Some content HAS been edited out to streamline but there is still spoiling content!

  • can someone tell me how to get that paralyze arrow or bow

  • @philiblackbreed

There are two paralyze effects that you could incur upon enemies using a bow. The first and easiest is a perk in the Archery tree. Open up your archery tree and you'll see it quick enough. The second is the paralyze enchantment that can be pulled off any weapon you find that has it (except Volendrung, because it's a unique item) and can then be placed onto any bow you like (though it's power depends on your skill and soul gem quality).

  • Without Janessa you would be in big trouble...

  • @xxxKERNKRAFT400xxx

I end up going solo for pretty much the whole later half of the Dark Brotherhood quest line. Going solo both frees me up to be more mobile and so avoid trouble more easily and forces it on me as I don't have the brick wall-like Janessa to take my hits. =]

  • How did you make Janessa dual wield the one handed weapons? Been trying everything :(

  • @ChareosRantras

Give her two one-handed weapons and take away all other options. Make sure she isn't holding a shield. I gave her a bow as well, she seems to prioritize one-handed weapons over bows though.

  • please make more of these..

  • @bmoneyism MadBagGamer's wrong. Nightingale armor levels, and you get the best version at levels 32+. However, you don't get the best version of the Nightingale Sword and Bow until levels 46+.

For future reference I'd recommend uespwiki. You can find virtually anything about any Elder Scrolls game on that site.

  • @MadBagGamer Ah thanks! it was the shield that was blocking her dual wield carnage :p! Keep up the good vids!

  • this was much more entertaining than doing homework (y)
