Using a tactile-converted print of "Indian Encampment" by Edward Curtis, Ann demonstrates how a person who is blind can "see" a piece of fine art.

  • All educators should get aware of Ann's amazing work. She is a pontifex - bridging over two types of virtual realities, one more virtual that the next :)

... way too little known... and there's about a 200M people market for her generous offer.

  • I think 2D art work ie painting and drawing is creating an image using perspective etc to give a visual illusion of a 3D reality ie something that you can touch hold walk around.

On examining the tactile picture Buna was sure she was touching a raised image of a hand. She was led into all other "discoveries"

A raised image copy of a 2D illusion of a tent is in no way like someone totally blind having the experience of a tent. This is a show of someone really trying to please.

  • I am always motivated by dynamic Buna. Thanks to her and to Ann, Charlie and Sensational Books!
