  • YT viewers UNDER 50 yo could not POSSIBLY comprehend this ICONIC ERA in Australian Rock History. Hans Poulsen looks like the Immortal John Lennon of the late 60s here, to me. Kiddies under 50 yo - FYI - this was an era in Australia where, for a brief, GLORIOUS period, Widespread Communal Kindness & Generosity of Spirit blossomed like a SuperNova, within our Oz society. That means it was180-degrees different to today's "mega-insular, closed-in-tribal, me-me-me & nobody else is worth a shit" style

  • Love it, takes me back to when i was a kid, sitting in the back seat of my 'old mans'' Kingswood, listening to the AM radio on a Sunday afternoon drive for a family picnic in the YouYangs !!!! Thanks for the fond memories NZOZ1970 !!!!!

  • Oh for my youth

  • @60srocker46 - Hans Poulsen appeared on an episode of Burkes Backyard many years ago. Sadly he had a stroke and was in a wheelchair unable to sing the way he used to. I'm not sure if he is alive or not (not being negative).

  • when all children can hold hands...one day this will be.

  • I agree, lovely song, seemed like a nice bloke too, the world certainly does need a reality check, if peace, love and good vibes are now so out of fashion!

  • It's absolutely unbelievable that this song is over forty years old.

! Hans wherever you are, we thank you for such a wonderful song !

  • Here comes the sun o_O!

  • @colindominy Sorry mate whilst 1970 was the best year of my life because of the music & growing up when AIDS PC & mobile phones didn't exist I think you are waxing a bit overly sentimental.Vietnam was still raging,Aussie society was fracturing over our troops being there, politicians were wankers & you still risked being bashed by dick head sharpies if you had long hair, run over by drunken yobbos or getting the clap depending where what or who you were doing-wouldn't trade 4 quids !

  • guys just wanted to lnow , is hans poulsen still alive ,the reason that im asking is that i have not heard anything about him for many years , please let me know

  • brilliant

  • @colindominy Amen to that brother.
