OASIS! Liam & Noel offer ticket refunds @ Heaton Park 4th June 2009! + Shock of the Lightning

After the set was stopped twice, because a Generator that was powering the PA system 'blew up', Liam and Noel came to the stage and offered everyone their money back.
This was a very generous thing for them to do, 70,000 people getting refunds!
But I don't think alot of people will claim their money back becuase it was a really amazing gig and worth every penny.

apologies for the sound quality, whats being said is something along the lines of:

"Really fuckin sorry about that, these are bollocks, This is a free gig from now on. we will get you your money back."

"For this gig, we're supposed to finish at 11 o'clock but we're gonna play through anyway til they fuckin throw us out"

"Everybody who kept their tickets will get a full refund"
"thankyou very much here's a free gig, enjoy it!"

Oasis is an over-rated over-hyped band. Its members are drunk on arrogance and complacency, both in their demeanour and even in their writing. They've long been inarticulate. Absolutely nothing to say (of worth).

They get away with it because so many buy into the con.
