Getting on toward 20 years up now, and my amends I make to people I can't make amends to is to give to street junkies whenever they ask. Every dollar I give is a dollar that doesn't need to be stolen, so it's making amends for when I had to steal to get by.

When I was an addict myself in San Francisco, on a Thanksgiving night in Union Square i still went and asked the finest restaurants if they would lend to a cause of my own to what might be left over if I could give to the poor. I was loaded up with BOXES, turkey legs and danish, loads of it. each homeless person I went to, I kneeled down and said "take your pick". I must of fed 10-15 people as there wasnt a whole lot, they kicked out quick in that area. still I enjoyed doing it.

@valburge I'm right there with you, 8 years clean of meth. on top of my world, hang in there, not sure about you of course but i myself was one of these pictures, if you were too, then the past is then, today is what counts, plan for tomorrow, cheers.
