Kenya has been hit especially hard by the crisis in East Africa. In the rural region of Wajir, lack of rain has destroyed whole harvests. Many locals have lost their livestock and main means of making a living.
Oxfam is trucking 1 million litres of water a week to over 40,000 people in the area and training committees to make the best use of what little water they have. We are also improving water systems for 120,000 people and carrying out hygiene promotion to reduce the risk of disease.
Kenyan leaders vehemently supports their "mental lapse" of doing anything to avert the crisis. What kind of leaders ar these ?

I know I'm going to sound insensitive, but I don't understand people who have doubt in their faiths when they see things like this.
I hate seeing this too, instead of looking up and saying "Why?", don't just donate, go there. Help to build schools, wells, distribute aid. Then you'll understand that the reason for suffering to exist is to eradicate it, and in doing so, showing the best side of ourselves.

Why the world is so sad?

I am glad to live in a developed world; I could not imagine how it's like to live in such poverty. I live in a country with the most abundant fresh water in the world, and a lot of people just take everything for granted.
