whats the name of this song at the beginning?

Joyce tried to separate himself from the catholic church unsucessfully.Religion reappears again and again. In "Araby" he says he walked through the dirty streets, holding his love aloft like a chalice, over the heads of the crowd.(not a direct quote).
-
Joyce recognised the provincialism of Dublin which still exists today.... always looking to London for approval, the cracked looking glass of a servant.. he choose another path.

Oh, please, do not continue. We are sufficiently aquainted with your ignorance. This is not a "Study". This is "I liked this book because..." by a kindergartner.

@LanceLeWonder : Thank you for your caring words and wise advice to an ignorant kindergartener.

@LessienAnwamane I apologize. You are quite right. Kindergartners know best, methinks. And I hereby subscribe. No offense, I hope.

@LanceLeWonder None taken indeed! :) I'll not pretend I'm a Joycean scholar or anything. And I'm certainly a fan of honesty, as well as civility. :) All's well.
