great cover dude. im actually learning this now. judging from this vid and your original piece you posted, i would say we have similar taste in playing. im having a hell of a time getting this to flow together tho. the quick 2h4p2p0 lick is throwing my timing off. any tips/pointers on learning this tune?

Hey Mitch,
I would recommend trying to play the part you are having trouble with as slow as you can but try to keep the timing the same so instead of doing it full speed just slow it down but keep the same rythm...
I hope it's coming along for you.
All the best.

Steve,
You guitar sounds fine. YOU sound great. Don't ever worry about the price of your gear. If you play well enough (and you do) ANY guitar that is in tune and plays in tune will sound good.

Thanks for the encouragement John, glad you liked the video. I'm actually going to be uploading a new version of this song that I recorded with some better gear,(AKG Condenser Mic, and my Larrivee) in a few days. Along with some other stuff that I have been working on.
Cheers
Steve.

Actually I now have a Larrivee. But a Hummingbird would be nice as well.
Thanks.
